Myofascia Release—Increase Motion
Myofacia Release is a safe and quite effective hands-on technique that involves applying pressure into the myofacia connective tissue to reduce pain and restore motion. Myofacia Release increases circulation and venous and lymphatic drainage, relaxes muscles, and stimulates flexibility of muscles and fascia.
Patients respond differently to this massage. Some feel instant relief and sleep well afterwards. Some are sore for a day or so after the massage. It is important to communicate with your therapist during the massage and afterward so your treatment can be best customized to your specific needs.
Most of our massages combine a mixture of massage techniques customized to the particular need of the patient. For example, the Therapist may mix deep tissue massage, myofascia release, trigger point therapy, and more in the same massage.
